Job summary

SOSI seeks a Senior Network Administrator in Honolulu to lead secure and resilient network operations for DoD missions. You will oversee LAN/WAN, VDI, CUCM, VTC, and VoIP systems, following STIGs and CSfC protocols while coordinating with Cross-Domain Solutions teams.

You must hold a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility and meet DoD 8570 IAT-II requirements. This role demands strong problem-solving and readiness for 24/7 operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant (CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
• Cisco CCNA or higher.
• Expertise in Cisco routers, switches, ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, CSfC, Taclane encryption methods, VDI environments, Cross-Domain Solutions, CUCM, and VTCs.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards including STIGs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and support 24/7 operations when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and ensure network availability following SOPs and DoD requirements.
• Manage LAN, WAN, VPN/VoIP/VTC, and CSfC/Taclane encryption deployments.
• Troubleshoot eBGP routing within Palo Alto environments and CSfC implementations.
• Maintain VDI environments and CUCM/VTC systems for reliable communications.
• Serve as incident escalation point and coordinate with Cross-Domain Solutions teams.
