Trident Systems in Fairfax, VA seeks a Senior Network Engineer to join a 24/7 mission-support team for a DoD aerial surveillance system. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Information Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years' networking experience (4 years with graduate degree).
• CCNP Security certification.
• Active US DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9400/8300, multicast, video transport over IP.
• Linux Red Hat experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate Government network solutions and infrastructure.
• Manage secure DoD networks and provide mission-critical support.
• Serve as SME for Cisco-based infrastructure (Catalyst 9400/8300, FMC, Firepower).
• Engineer multicast/video transport and IP network practices.
• Support DoD network operations across classified/unclassified environments.
• Contribute to system design docs, configurations, and training materials.
• Provide research, recommendations, and procurement input when needed.
