Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Network Engineer 3 for an onsite role at our corporate offices in the Houston/Dallas area. The position focuses on design work to tailor solutions for client requests, anticipates problems, and communicates the business value of technical decisions.

Responsibilities include Level 3/4 engineering support, provisioning and configuring LAN/WAN/Data Center/Voice networks, and delivering small-to medium-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of network engineering and/or solutions engineering experience.
• CCNP certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Arista routing, switching, firewalls, etc.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
• Experience with incident response and cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3/4 engineering support for the corporate enterprise network.
• Verify hardware/software requirements and design and configure LAN/WAN, Data Center, and Voice Network technologies.
• Provision, configure, install, monitor, and troubleshoot network equipment.
• Support network technologies and provide high level user support.
• Document projects and deliver presentations with minimal supervision.
