Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in Columbus, OH is seeking a Network Engineer to complete site surveys and design structured networks for voice, data, security, and AV systems. You will develop drawings, specifications, and reports, and coordinate with IT, facilities, clients, and vendors to deliver comprehensive network designs and implementation plans.

Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, estimating efforts, and producing management reports while supporting on-prem and cloud

Qualifications

Experience with network engineering and structured cabling.
Experience with commercial hardware, networks, and cloud environments.
Experience with security, routing, and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF).
Experience with SD-WAN and related technologies.
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel; detail-oriented and multitasking.
Secret clearance; HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Complete site surveys and create structured designs for voice, data, security, and AV systems.
Design engineered drawings, specifications, reports and other technical documents.
Analyze requirements to develop system designs, estimates, and implementation plans.
Coordinate cabling design with other disciplines and prepare implementation documentation.
