Job summary

UKG's Cloud Infrastructure team designs, builds, and operates the network services that support our products across data centers and public cloud environments. The team manages routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, network monitoring tools, and related services.

You'll work with engineering, architecture, security, product, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver network solutions.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of professional network engineering experience with core networking.
• 3+ years infrastructure-as-code or network automation with Terraform, Ansible, Python.
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines for testing, validating, or deploying network configurations.
• Experience using Jinja2 templates for configuration generation or automation.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, HSRP/VRRP.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across data center and public cloud environments.
• Apply core networking expertise in routing, switching, segmentation, connectivity, and traffic management.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to test, validate, and deploy network configurations and infrastructure code.
• Use Jinja2 templates to generate and manage network configurations and automation artifacts.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration management, compliance checks, and operational processes.
• Diagnose complex network issues using packet captures, protocol analyzers, logs, monitoring platforms, and other diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with architects and partner teams to assess requirements, recommend solutions, and coordinate implementation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and support planned work outside normal business hours when required.
