Job summary

Abacus is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage datacentre networks across the US and UK, using Cisco, Juniper, and next‑gen firewall technologies, ensuring high availability and performance. You will lead client projects, provide escalation support, mentor team members, and contribute to documentation and improvement initiatives.

Collaboration with Abacus teams will be essential to deliver seamless solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of networking experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly and propose improvements.
• Support and maintain network backbone infrastructure across datacenters and regions.
• Lead medium-sized client engagements involving deployment, design, or refresh tasks.
• Provide escalation support for incidents affecting multiple clients and environments.
• Mentor and guide team members to develop their skills.
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with trends to improve performance and security.
