Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or IT related field (preferred).
• At least 5 years of network experience with Cisco technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers, and wireless controllers/access points.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 switching, VLANs, STP, copper and fiber cabling, and network security practices.
• Experience with SolarWinds or similar network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including Cisco Nexus/Catalyst devices and wireless solutions.
• Implement and manage Layer 2/3 protocols, with emphasis on BGP routing.
• Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and respond to issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead small to large network projects with budget and schedule adherence.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and change logs.
