Job summary

The Pennant Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our network infrastructure across multiple locations and in Azure. You will drive security with Palo Alto firewalls, deploy cloud and on‑prem solutions, and ensure high availability with load balancers.

Ideal candidates have Palo Alto and Azure experience, strong routing/switching knowledge, and a track record of multi‑region network design. Hybrid opportunities apply where available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with Palo Alto and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• Experience designing networks over multiple regions and using BGP.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust network security using Palo Alto products.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Design scalable network architectures for 260+ locations and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors; maintain detailed network docs.
• Respond to incidents with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
