Job summary

Expert Technology Services is seeking a Core/Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in a multi-vendor environment. You will configure routing/switching, manage security devices, and drive automation with Python/Ansible, while collaborating with cybersecurity and desktop teams.

You will work onsite four days per week supporting a large user base and contributing to modernization and cloud connectivity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infra in multi-vendor env.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routing and switching tech.
• Manage firewalls, secure web gateways, proxy services, and security infra.
• Develop and maintain network automation using Python/Ansible or similar.
• Automate provisioning, config, monitoring, and workflows.
• Support wireless/Wi‑Fi infrastructure and connectivity.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity on hardening and security initiatives.
• Partner with desktop support/workplace teams for end-user issues.
• Evaluate emerging tech, including AI tools, to boost ops and automation.
• Participate in infra projects: networking, security, cloud, modernization.
• Create/maintain network documentation, standards, and SOPs.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting for complex connectivity issues.
• Work onsite four days a week with office users.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise network infra in a multi-vendor environment.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced routing and switching technologies.
• Manage and support firewalls, secure web gateways, proxy services, and other network security solutions.
• Develop and maintain network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational workflows.
• Support, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless and Wi‑Fi infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on infrastructure hardening and security initiatives.
• Partner with desktop support and workplace technology teams to resolve end-user and office technology issues.
• Evaluate and leverage emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools, to enhance operational efficiency and automation.
• Participate in infrastructure projects related to networking, security, cloud connectivity, and technology modernization.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, standards, and operating procedures.
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for complex network connectivity and performance issues.
• Work onsite four days per week, supporting office-based technology operations and a large user base.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and foster a collaborative team environment.
