Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to maintain and evolve our LAN/WAN and security posture across multiple sites in the United States.

The role involves designing and deploying network solutions, managing firewalls, SD‑WAN, and wireless environments, and coordinating with maintenance and management teams to keep systems secure and efficient. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of network engineering experience, knowledge of Cisco/Juniper devices, Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as Network Engineer/Administrator.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Industry Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are a plus.
• Network design/architecture for multi-site environments.
• Strong documentation and security proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of all LAN/WAN including routers and switches.
• Manage firewalls and remote access solutions.
• Create and maintain network architecture docs, standards, and procedures.
• Maintain wireless environments and data center fiber channel storage networks.
• Coordinate wiring changes with maintenance/management.
• Ensure WAN circuits and internet connectivity via service providers.
• Ensure network security in collaboration with security team.
• Capture and analyze network performance metrics and incidents.
• Assist with other IT projects as required.
