  • Work with networking team on RF planning, predictive designs, site surveys, heat maps, and spectrum analysis using tools such as Ekahau or equivalent

  • Configure, support, and troubleshoot wireless controllers, access points, authentication services (802.1X, RADIUS), and wireless security policies.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for wireless performance, reliability, and availability issues.

  • Support broader enterprise network infrastructure, including switching, routing, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls

  • Assist in ISP/cabling work needed for enterprise sites

  • Contribute to network automation, scripting, and monitoring

  • Work with Security and Facilities teams on new site builds to ensure network solutions meet business and security requirements.

  • Document designs, configurations and procedures to share with the IT team.

Cloud Network Administration:

  • Help support virtual networks, routing, VPNs, and load balancing in AWS, Azure, and GCP.

  • Administer cloud network components (e.g., VPCs, Transit Gateways, Azure VNets, GCP Interconnects).

  • Ensure cloud networking aligns with enterprise security and performance standards.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud network performance and incidents.

Customer Service & Support:

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients on network-related issues.

  • Provide high‑quality support, documentation, and communication throughout project lifecycles.

  • Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to escalations with professionalism and urgency.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 7+ years of hands‑on experience in network engineering and cloud administration.

  • Solid experience with:

    • AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform networking components. Experience with AWS Direct Connect or Azure ExpressRoute is a plus.

    • Cisco switching (Layer 2/3) and wireless infrastructure. Experience with Cisco DNS/Catalyst Center is a plus.

    • Firewall configuration and management.

    • SD‑WAN solutions (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Velo Cloud, Fatpipe).

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, etc.).

  • Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow).

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred:

  • Relevant certifications, such as:

    • Cisco (CCNA, CCNP)

    • AWS Certified Advanced Networking

    • Azure Network Engineer Associate

    • Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer

  • Experience working in hybrid IT environments (on‑prem + cloud).

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and secure cloud networking principles.

  • Early stage start‑up experience.
