Job summary

Lorven Technologies, Inc. in Lincolnshire, IL is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to lead enterprise networking and security initiatives across LAN/WAN, VPN, and multi-cloud environments.

Required are 12+ years in IT, hands-on experience with Zscaler, Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto, HPE Mist, Meraki, and multi-cloud networking; travel up to 10% may be expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in computer networks.
• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering and security experience.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and Branch Connectors.
• Cisco Nexus Dashboard for data center management and automation.
• Experience with HPE Mist and Cisco Meraki for wireless.
• Extensive Palo Alto Firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
• Cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• PCNSE/PCNSA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage L3 incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD/LLD).
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews.
