Job summary

Cumming Group is hiring a Network Administrator to provide networking administration for a large public works educational facility in Monterey Park, CA. The role covers installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including firewalls, routers, and VPNs.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in CS or related field with 7+ years of experience, strong Windows Server and security skills, and experience with VMware, Cisco Meraki, and PowerShell scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of systems and network administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows servers, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage and maintain network systems including LAN/WAN and wireless
• Secure network infrastructure and firewall configurations; monitor for threats
• Support disaster recovery procedures across multiple sites
• Respond to staff inquiries and resolve complex networking issues
• Assist with network project delivery and documentation
