Job summary

Search Services seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and maintain complex global network systems. Under general supervision, you’ll work independently across operational and design environments, delivering scalable network solutions enterprise-wide.

You’ll collaborate with IT Risk Management and Security, support Cisco ACI, Citrix, VMware, Dell servers, and Microsoft technologies, and thrive in a fast-learning culture with a bias for action. Hybrid schedule available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco ACI, Citrix, VMware, Dell servers and Microsoft technologies.
• CCNP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and configure network server systems and repair server hardware.
• Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and operating systems.
• Use knowledge of server operating systems to design and install internal and external networks.
• Perform remedial maintenance on file servers and network devices, including hardware and software restoration.
• Test and evaluate network systems to ensure stability, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Identify and recommend cost-effective technology solutions.
• Assist in vendor comparisons and cost analysis for large-scale system projects.
• Collaborate with IT Risk Management and Security to reduce business risk.

Job Summary:

This role requires working independently in both operational and design environments, collaborating with cross-discipline workgroups, and developing scalable network solutions deployable across the enterprise.

• Design, install, and configure network server systems and repair server hardware.
• Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and operating systems.
• Use knowledge of server operating systems to design and install internal and external networks.
• Perform remedial maintenance on file servers and network devices, including hardware and software restoration.
• Test and evaluate network systems to ensure stability, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Identify and recommend cost-effective technology solutions.
• Assist in vendor comparisons and cost analysis for large-scale system projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant, progressive experience working with Cisco ACI, Citrix, VMware, Dell servers, and Microsoft technologies
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification preferred
