Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support the implementation and sustainment of enterprise network solutions in a high-security environment in Sterling/Herndon, VA. The role is hands-on and collaborative, focusing on mission-enabled systems.

You will deploy across secure, multi-site environments, optimize performance, manage firewall rules, and collaborate with cloud, systems, and cybersecurity teams. Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise network implementation and sustainment.
• Strong command of switching/routing (Cisco preferred), VLANs, VPNs, ACLs, and firewall technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure networking in high-side environments.
• Experience working with mission systems and secure enclave operations.

Please note, this position is contingent upon award.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
