Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Draper, UT that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer. Summary: We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in both enterprise and Operational Technology (OT) environments to support and enhance network infrastructure across manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining network solutions that support critical business systems as well as industrial technologies and connected operational equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong Cisco networking background and experience supporting industrial environments where network reliability, security, and performance are essential to business operations.

• Design, implement, and support enterprise and OT network infrastructure
• Maintain and optimize LAN, WAN, wireless, and SD-WAN environments
• Configure and support Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies
• Troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and security issues across multiple locations
• Implement network segmentation and security controls to protect critical operational systems
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, security, and engineering teams to support business and manufacturing initiatives
• Maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures
• Monitor network health and proactively address risks impacting uptime and performance

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related infrastructure roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issues

Strong Knowledge Of

• TCP/IP
• Routing and switching
• VLANs
• Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
• Network security principles

Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including

• Routers
• Switches
• Firewalls
• Wireless networks
• SD-WAN solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments
• Knowledge of OT networking and industrial communication technologies

This pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
