Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a seasoned IT professional in Chicago, IL with strong networking and cloud certifications to join our global IT operations. You will work on enterprise IT solutions, support global projects, and contribute to secure, scalable network infrastructure.

The role requires advanced networking knowledge across WAN, VPN, DNS, security, and SDWAN technologies, with a track record of delivering in large, distributed environments. This position is on-site in Chicago with some travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field preferred.
5+ years of professional IT experience.
3 years of participation on project teams.
Global project experience.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant academic discipline is preferred.
5+ years of professional IT experience.
3 years of participation on project teams.
Global project experience.

Licenses and Certifications

Cisco CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) Certification preferred.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certification preferred.
Fortinet Certification preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Advanced knowledge of Ethernet, wide area networking, routing, TCP/IP, voice and wireless communications.
Network experience in global enterprise environments.
Understanding of DNS & Domain Registration.
Understanding of current core business practices and how IT solutions support them.
Advanced knowledge of IT functional area strategies and how they are integrated.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with limited assistance.

Additional Skills and Abilities

Experience with network switches, routers & wireless; Cisco/Meraki preferred.
Working experience with wireless (802.11x) communications; Cisco/Meraki preferred.
Experience with wireless authentication (802.1x) products; Cisco ISE preferred.
Experience with remote access products; FortiClient preferred.
Experience with network security/firewall products; FortiGate preferred.
Experience with SDWAN & VPN; FortiGate SDWAN and ADVPN preferred.
Experience with load balancing products; FortiADC preferred.
Experience with DNS products; Infoblox preferred.
Experience with network management software and network tuning tools, i.e., Wireshark.
Able to flex work schedules as needed to support after-hours activities, maintenance windows, incidents, and on-call responsibilities.
Ability to travel 5%-10% of time or as needed to achieve business objectives.

Compensation range for this role is $85,000.00 - $100,000.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
