Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Network Cybersecurity Architect to lead and expand capabilities for critical infrastructure clients. You will provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle, shaping network cybersecurity architecture, assessments, and secure deployment across OT environments.

You will define standards, guide security design, and collaborate with Industrial Cybersecurity Services to align governance, risk, and compliance with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, and industrial networks.
• Familiarity with NERC CIP, NIST CSF, IEC 62443.
• Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CISM, GPEN, GWAPT, or GICSP.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network infrastructure cybersecurity assessments including vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, and architecture reviews.
• Develop detailed technical reports documenting findings, risk impacts, and remediation actions.
• Support adversarial testing and security validation efforts, including red team exercises where applicable.
• Collaborate to secure SCADA, DCS, and industrial network architectures.
• Lead implementation of cybersecurity network infrastructure solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation).
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge across teams.
• Stay current on cybersecurity technologies, threats, and industry trends in IT/OT.
