Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for complex primary care and specialty provider agreements throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Develop negotiation strategies by evaluating provider performance, market conditions, utilization trends, and quality metrics.
• Interpret financial models to assess reimbursement scenarios, contract economics, and financial impact of terms.
• Structure provider agreements balancing medical expense, affordability, network adequacy, and long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Provider Operations, Credentialing and Clinical leadership for implementation readiness.
• Analyze network adequacy, access standards, cost trends, and market opportunities to guide contracting initiatives.
• Serve as primary contracting contact for assigned provider organizations, addressing interpretation and reimbursement questions.
