Job summary

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to serve as the District's senior hands-on engineer for enterprise network and cloud infrastructure. You will design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot the Cisco Meraki campus and wireless estate, data center and administrative network, SD-WAN, and the Azure environment hosting the majority of District workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience engineering enterprise network and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently on complex problems.
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN.
• Experience with Windows Server/AD and DNS.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, deploy, and maintain the District's Networking estate: security appliances, NextGen L7 functions, switches, and wireless across all sites.
• Maintain Layer 3 services at site edge (DHCP, relay, inter-VLAN routing).
• Engineer and support data center and administrative network (OSPF/BGP, QoS, segmentation).
• Support SD-WAN and WAN transport, site turn-ups, and carrier failover.
