Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Network Cloud Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support hybrid and cloud-based network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional networking and cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or OCI), with a focus on secure, scalable, and highly available architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud and hybrid network architectures.
• Configure and manage virtual networks, VPNs, subnets, gateways, and peering in cloud environments.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues in both on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and security teams to integrate networking with broader cloud solutions.
• Manage cloud-native networking tools and services (e.g., AWS VPC etc).
• Ensure high availability, failover, and disaster recovery capabilities of network services.
• Implement security best practices including firewall rules, network segmentation, and access control.
• Document designs, configurations, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and drive initiatives to successful completion in the realm of enterprise networking infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud and hybrid networking
• Respond to outages during business and after-hours. Participates in 24x7 on-call rotation process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-7+ years of experience in networking and cloud infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience in Datacenter Network Operations, racking, and layouts.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, Load Balancing, VPN, FW, DHCP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Automate network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Python, Terraform, Ansible, and related tools.
• Integrate networking into DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows using version control and automation tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Monitor network performance and automate alerting, logging, and remediation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Cloud Security, and Application Development, to ensure a secure and resilient infrastructure.
• Maintain thorough documentation of network architectures, configurations, and Python automation workflows.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Exhibit a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
• In-depth experience with configuring a variety of network management tools

Base compensation ranges from $114,000 to $150,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
