Job summary

Solutions³ LLC seeks a Network Based Systems Analyst III to support a government cyber defense program. The role focuses on analyzing network traffic, validating alerts, and producing incident reports, with emphasis on intrusion detection and rapid response capabilities.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience in cyber defense analysis, experience with Snort and protocol analyzers, and BS in a related field or equivalent experience. Top secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and deploying signatures for cyber defense.
• Experience detecting host and network intrusions using IDS tech.
• Experience interpreting signatures and performing packet-level analysis.

Responsibilities

• Characterize and analyze network traffic to identify anomalous activity.
• Coordinate with cyber defense staff to validate alerts.
• Document event history, status and impact for action.
• Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting.
• Provide daily summaries of network events relevant to cyber defense.
