Job summary

BCforward is hiring a Senior Network Automation / Network Security Architect in Chandler, AZ on a hybrid schedule with at least three days onsite weekly. The role focuses on automation, CI/CD, and enterprise networking with secure, scalable solutions.

The candidate should have 7+ years of experience, strong Python and Linux skills, and expertise with network automation tools and SDN technologies. This is a contract engagement for 11 months with W2 pay.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming and Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, VRFs and network protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience with Ansible and network automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using Python and shell scripts.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
• Design and implement automation strategies for network config, monitoring, and orchestration.
• Lead architectural discussions related to network and automation.
