Job summary

McKesson in Irving, TX seeks a delivery-focused Network Engineer with strong automation experience to support modernization, site deployments, and SD-WAN initiatives. You will work hands-on with Aruba platforms and develop GUI-based automation to speed deployments.

You will build APIs, integrate with enterprise systems, and document workflows while collaborating with PMs and ops to meet deadlines. Experience with Cisco/Aruba networks and code-driven deployments required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on enterprise networking experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless.
• 7+ years in production network automation reducing errors and improving delivery.
• Python for automation and data handling; Ansible for orchestration and config mgmt; Terraform for network IaC; REST APIs and Git for collaboration.
• Experience developing automation that produces clear reports (HTML dashboards, UI elements) for deployment teams.
• Familiarity with Aruba Central and Cisco/Aruba campus/branch networks; strong troubleshooting during cutovers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support enterprise network engineering and automation solutions using Aruba Central (AOS-CX, AOS10) and Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN.
• Build automation to support site turn-ups, migrations, network access control, and SD-WAN deployment.
• Develop or integrate front-end GUI components (internal portals, dashboards, tooling) that simplify delivery workflows.
• Use APIs to integrate network platforms with automation pipelines and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, implementation teams, and operations to meet deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and remediate during deployments; feed lessons learned into automation improvements.
• Maintain documentation for deployment scripts, automation workflows, and handoffs.
