Job summary

Trinity Cyber, a pioneer in active network defense, seeks a Senior Network Automation Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will use Python and automation tools to build and maintain a high-performance network architecture, solving complex Layer 2/Layer 3, and BGP challenges with minimal direction.

You will work on scalable, secure networks and help ensure real-time protection for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/Math preferred.
• Experience with Linux performance tuning, networking fundamentals, and protocol analysis.
• Strong Python development and automation framework experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Layer 2/Layer 3 and dynamic routing issues (BGP).
• Familiarity with network monitoring/automation tools (Nautobot, Telegraf/InfluxDB/Grafana, ELK).
• Security-focused mindset and ability to work in a fully remote, high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize firewall and VPN architectures to shield customers.
• Architect and automate networks using Python and automation frameworks to reduce manual work.
• Lead strategic troubleshooting for Layer 2/Layer 3 and BGP challenges; identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Design resilient network architectures to improve performance, security, and stability.
