Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud (NMC²) seeks an experienced Senior Engineer who can write clean Python and reason about BGP. You will design and build automated, scalable, self-service networking across global infrastructure and own projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities include provisioning networks, driving architecture, and integrating Ansible, Terraform, and Jinja2 into CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with security, platform, and network teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience spanning software development and network engineering with automation ownership.
• Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals including testing and CI/CD.
• Experience with API design, service integration, or platform engineering.
• Familiarity with IaC and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for network provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure automation is scalable and maintainable.
• Develop Python software and use Ansible, Terraform, and Jinja2 for IaC.
• Integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Expose networking capabilities via self-service APIs and tooling.
• Implement observability workflows for network performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, and Platform teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response and reliability.
