Job summary

Trinity Industries in Dallas, TX seeks a Sr. Network Architect to lead the enterprise network strategy across campus, data center, cloud and WAN.

You will drive modern architectures including Zero Trust and SD-WAN, partner with security and cloud teams, mentor engineers, and translate business requirements into scalable designs. The role requires deep expertise in routing, security, automation, and observability, with a focus on resilient, secure connectivity and governance across Trinity's IT

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience.
• Senior architect/tech lead experience required.
• Active industry certs preferred (CCNP Enterprise/Security, Fortinet NSE).

Responsibilities

• Act as principal technical authority for Trinity's enterprise network.
• Design scalable architectures across campus, data center, WAN, and multi-cloud.
• Adopt Zero Trust, SD-WAN, and cloud-native networking.
• Mentor engineers and develop technology roadmaps.
• Translate business needs into actionable designs.
• Lead network security architecture (NGFW, IDS/IPS, NAC).
• Govern SD-WAN strategy and cloud integrations.
• Drive IaC practices with Ansible, Terraform, Python, CI/CD.
• Ensure observability with NetFlow, telemetry, and AIOps.
