Job summary

Braxton-Grant Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Network Architect (FitUp Team) in Laurel, MD to design, integrate, and optimize mission-critical network infrastructure.

This senior role requires extensive experience in security-conscious environments and close collaboration with customer and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable network solutions. The position emphasizes architecture development, system integration, and testing in accordance with DoD policies, with an on-site work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Ten+ years of related experience.
• Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP.
• Certifications: Cisco CCNP Enterprise or Cisco CCIE (preferred), Aruba Certified Professional, Juniper JNCIP.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking, AWS, scripting, and virtualization.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust networking.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little direction.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions for IC needs, including IP routing, addressing, IP Multicast, IP QoS, and IP encryptors.
• Collaborate with System Engineers to define requirements and architectures.
• Develop test plans and test architecture with customers.
• Advise on secure, scalable architectures compliant with agency policies.
• Design, configure, deploy, test and support network devices and interfaces.
• Lead large, dynamic projects and scale as needed.
• Provide guidance to Junior Network Engineers.
• Produce final recommendation reports and deliver presentations.
