Job summary

Papa John’s International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Architect/Engineer to collaborate with executive leadership to plan and implement company-wide LAN/WAN and wireless networks. You will design, deploy, and secure network infrastructure, including firewalls and VPNs, while maintaining documentation and disaster recovery readiness.

The role requires strong Cisco/Palo Alto expertise, data center knowledge, and extensive experience with security technologies and network optimization.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years with Master’s or 5 years post-Bachelor’s in progressive IT roles.
• Experience with DevSecOps infrastructure practices and network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on with Cisco technologies and VLANs, NAT/PAT, and routing.
• Experience with data center technologies and security tools such as Palo Alto and Panorama.

Responsibilities

• Assess near and long-term network capacity needs with executive management and leaders.
• Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks including servers, routers, switches, UPSs, and other hardware.
• Configure firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and remote access VPNs; monitor performance.
• Oversee security solutions, perform backups and recovery, and coordinate with vendors/outsourcers.
