Harbor IT is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in the United States to own architecture and deliver complex networking engagements, spanning LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, wireless, and security. You will lead pre‑sales design, mentor junior engineers, and set technical standards across a client portfolio.

You will work hands‑on with Extreme Networks and Fortinet platforms, translating business needs into clear designs and client‑facing guidance while collaborating with account teams and solutions architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/ Networking/CS.
• 7+ years in network engineering and architecture with senior experience.
• Hands-on Extreme Networks and Fortinet experience required.
• ExtremeCloud IQ/EXOS/VOSS certification preferred; NSE4 minimum.
• Fortinet NSE7+ preferred; FortiGate/FortiManager expertise essential.
• CCNP, CWNA/CWSP and SD-WAN certifications are a plus.
• MSP/consulting delivery background is valued.

Responsabilités

• Own network architecture and design across campus LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, wireless, and security deployments.
• Lead complex network implementations and direct engineers through project execution.
• Lead pre‑sales design for networking opportunities, BOMs, and proposals.
• Design, configure, deploy, and validate Extreme Networks and Fortinet solutions as primary platforms.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, templates, and baselines for consistency.
• Conduct health reviews and translate technical risk into remediation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with solutions architects and account managers to validate scope and produce SOWs.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers through project participation and coaching.
• Maintain knowledge of vendor ecosystems, licensing, support, and roadmaps.
• Represent the networking practice in client reviews and technology strategy discussions.
