Job summary

Oracle US is seeking a Principal Network Development Engineer to lead complex connectivity initiatives across global infrastructure. You will drive engineering decisions from design through production readiness, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to ensure reliability and scalability.

You will mentor engineers, define technical standards, and accelerate analysis using AI-assisted tools while maintaining rigorous engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or delivering large-scale networks in hyperscale, Tier1 ISP, or telecom environments.
• Expert knowledge in at least one networking domain with strong breadth across adjacent domains.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and IP networking (IPv4/IPv6).
• Ability to translate architectures into detailed designs and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for complex global connectivity programs.
• Own technical outcomes across carrier circuits, dark fiber, lit fiber, wavelengths, and data center interconnects.
• Lead design reviews covering topology, diversity, transport, and performance.
