Job summary

Defense Engineering, Inc. seeks a Network Architect SME to lead design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise application delivery and DDI infrastructure in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. TS/SCI clearance is required.

You will drive F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM) and Infoblox-based solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and scalable multi-cloud readiness across mission-critical DoW networks. Strong leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required at hire.
• 8+ years in network engineering/architecture with ADN focus.
• Expertise in F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM and Infoblox DDI.
• Experience with DoD networks and NOC/SOC environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy enterprise ADN solutions with F5 and Infoblox.
• Architect secure, high-availability, global load balancing.
• Collaborate with security, applications, and systems teams to translate requirements.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and compliance traces.
