Job summary

S&S Activewear, LLC in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Senior Network Administrator to design, govern, and operate secure WAN, LAN, and wireless services across distribution centers and offices in the U.S. and Canada.

This role requires hands-on expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, SD‑WAN, and wireless technologies, and the ability to translate business and security requirements into scalable network solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least five years of hands-on enterprise network experience across multi-site environments.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale wired and wireless network solutions from design to operation.
• Experience designing segmented networks with VLANs, VRFs, ACLs following least-privilege/Zero Trust.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN, RADIUS, QoS.

Responsibilities

• Define network architecture, standards, and reference designs for LAN/WAN/WLAN.
• Create and maintain designs and configurations for sites, expansions, and refreshes.
• Lead change control and technical design reviews with stakeholders.
• Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and performance with monitoring and automation.
