Job summary

CBTS in Cincinnati is seeking a Sr. Engineer - Network Engineering to join our Infrastructure Management team.

You will design, govern, and optimize complex enterprise networks, including WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and security, partnering with stakeholders and vendors to deliver scalable connectivity. The ideal candidate has 10–12 years IT experience, 8+ years hands-on network engineering, and a BS in a related field.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
10–12 years in IT with 8+ years in enterprise network engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with enterprise routing, switching, and security.

Responsibilities

Engineer design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network architectures (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, segmentation).
Provide advanced troubleshooting for critical network incidents and drive permanent remediation.
Lead network transformation projects (upgrades, migrations, lifecycle, capacity, resiliency).
Define and enforce network security standards with cybersecurity teams.
Implement proactive monitoring, observability, and performance management.
Develop and maintain architecture standards, docs, and operation guides.
Act as senior technical consultant in customer engagements and vendor discussions.
Mentor engineers and promote best practices across the org.
