Job summary

MANTECH in Laurel, MD seeks a Senior Network Engineer/Architect to support enterprise infrastructure for a global mission-focused workforce. You will collaborate with customers, IPTs, and vendors to implement advanced EIT capabilities in Data Center & Compute Services.

The role requires hands-on design and deployment of multi-domain networks, VMware vCloud, NetApp storage, and security compliance including STIG/Nessus. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree with substantial network experience required.
• Knowledge of VMware, NetApp, firewalls, switches; Linux/Windows/Mac OSX.
• Experience with scripting (Bash/PowerShell) and automation tools.
• Familiar with STIG/ security mandates and Nessus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineer maintaining datacenters with multi-domain networks.
• Design updated HDI solution for developer environments with security in mind.
• Install, configure and support VMWare vCloud environment.
• Design storage with NetApp clusters and update end-of-life storage.
• Set up Cisco UCS hardware for virtual environments.
• Install, configure and support mobile/wireless networks for campus or system-wide scope.
• Develop Mac OSX virtual environment for development testing.
• Create GUI deployment server for Windows and Linux desktop installations.
