Job summary

MANTECH seeks an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting secure network solutions across multi-platform environments, including PKI, IPsec, and VPN-enabled networks. Candidates must have extensive experience with SDN, Cisco ACI or VMware NSX, Ansible scripting, and Python automation, plus a TS/SCI clearance with poly.

Qualifications

14 years of experience with a technical degree, or 6 additional years in lieu of a degree.
Experience implementing and supporting multi-platform, multi-system networks to diagnose performance issues and design improvements.
Experience with complex, high-performance networks and provisioning/infrastructure management.
Experience with peer-to-peer distributed storage networks and messaging frameworks.

Responsibilities

Support multi-platform, multi-system network solutions and sustain infrastructures.
Provide expertise in IP networks, WANs, and public/private networks.
Plan and maintain LAN/WANs including connectivity, routing, security, and wireless.
Evaluate new technologies to enhance network capabilities.
Research SDN and automation with Ansible and Python.
