Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for its Datacenter Network Engineering team in Austin. You will design, engineer, and operate LAN/WAN and hybrid data center environments to deliver scalable, secure networking for advisors and clients.

Responsibilities include architecture, deployment, and DR planning, with on-call rotation and leadership responsibilities. A strong Cisco-centric background and cloud networking experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Data Center Core Network Engineering and Architecture experience in a Cisco-centric environment.
• 2+ years of Cisco NDO & ACI, Nexus, and Catalyst experience.
• 2+ years of Data Center migration and Hybrid Cloud Networking experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and architect Data Center, Cloud, and LAN/WAN networking solutions.
• Configure and deploy on premise and cloud-based networking technologies.
• Own network domain as part of DR strategy.
• Design, deploy, and administer MPLS, DIA, and SDWAN.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the organization.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Be a technical lead and mentor for the team.
