Job summary

Wipro in the United States is seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer to lead Cisco routing and switching, as well as large-scale wireless deployments with Meraki and Aruba, and to architect SD-WAN solutions. You will mentor junior engineers and act as the technical authority for complex infrastructure projects.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience with hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI, Nexus, Catalyst, and SD-WAN technologies, and involves coordinating escalations across multiple

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of network engineering experience.
• Expert Cisco routing and switching knowledge with Nexus/ISR/ASR families.
• Proven track record managing large enterprise wireless deployments (Cisco Meraki, Aruba).
• Hands-on experience designing and operating VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Routing & Switching: configure, troubleshoot complex Cisco environments using advanced protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, Nexus).
• Wireless Deployment: oversee lifecycle deployment, management, and security of multi-vendor wireless nets (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba).
• SD-WAN Deployment: deploy and maintain SD-WAN architectures (VeloCloud).
• Tier 3 Escalation: handle P1/P2 incidents, drive RCA closure, coordinate with multiple towers/vendors.
• Security & Compliance: enforce network security policies, firewall integrations, secure access controls.
• Mentorship: provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
