Job summary

A leading technology firm in Deerfield, IL, is seeking a Cisco Network Architecture/Senior Engineer with over 10 years of experience in LAN/Data communications, and a Bachelor’s Degree in math or computer science. You will be responsible for network planning, design, and optimization while providing technical guidance and support. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting capabilities, is customer service-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. Cisco certification is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight plus years of network support and systems-level programming.
• Capable of troubleshooting all aspects of Local Area Network and Data Communications problems.
• Experience with EMC storage arrays, Symantec eVault, XenMobile is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for high-level network planning, design, and optimization.
• Monitors network performance and ensures capacity planning is performed.
• Provides technical guidance to project teams as appropriate.
