Job summary

Byte Systems, a VTG subsidiary, seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures across LAN/WAN, with a focus on Cisco ACI and security controls.

You will lead technical design discussions, perform testing in multi-data center environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide on-call support to ensure uptime.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of routing, switching, VXLAN/EVPN, and network automation using Python or Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of IP networking architecture and design experience.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, routing protocols, and enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Design network architectures based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with IT disciplines to resolve complex problems.
• Develop Cisco ACI designs for multi-data center configurations.
• Create architectural designs and present to stakeholders.
• Work with infrastructure engineers to identify new products and solutions.
• Document maintenance for all network infrastructure.
