We are looking for a Senior Network and Pre-Sales Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of advanced network and managed service solutions. This hybrid role blends technical expertise with consultative engagement, supporting both engineering execution and pre‑sales solution development.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to understand client requirements and design tailored solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, site assessments, and solution workshops.
• Create high-level and detailed architectures, BOMs, and implementation plans.
• Deliver client presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Lead deployment of LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and security infrastructures.
• Integrate IP voice services and cloud networking (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Conduct proof-of-concept testing for new technologies.

Operations & Troubleshooting

• Act as Tier 3 escalation for complex issues.
• Optimize performance through monitoring, analytics, and capacity planning.
• Oversee firmware upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure accurate technical and operational documentation.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

• Implement firewall policies, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Conduct audits and recommend remediation strategies.
• Support compliance initiatives (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).

MSP Service Delivery (Growth Area)

• Support the development of scalable MSP processes and service delivery models.
• Assist with client onboarding, QBRs, and service reviews as processes mature.
• Collaborate with NOC, helpdesk, and project teams to refine workflows.
• Provide input on tools, processes, and structures to strengthen MSP offerings.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor junior engineers and provide peer reviews.
• Share best practices, contribute to SOPs, and develop reusable templates.
• Act as a technical leader within client engagements and internal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering (design, deployment, troubleshooting).
• 3+ years in pre-sales or solution architecture.
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki, Fortinet, and Juniper required.
• Cloud networking (AWS, Azure) experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
