Job summary

Gridiron IT is seeking a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator in Alexandria, VA for a full-time hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). You will plan and lead major technology assignments, ensure system security, and act as a technical expert across multiple projects.

The position requires TS/SCI clearance, a IT degree, and extensive experience with Linux, containers, and AWS, plus IA certifications such as Security+ and IAT Level II. You may supervise others.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field with 7 years' experience.
• Experience with Linux, containers, AWS, and monitoring network availability.
• IA certifications per DoDD 8570.01-M; IAT Level II; Security+ and AWS certification.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related area of study; 7 years’ experience implementing security principles and administering IT systems. Experience with Linux operating systems, containers, AWS, monitoring network availability and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability and network security measures. 6 years of experience administering IT systems may substitute for academic degree
• Privileged access positions require compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security + and an AWS certification
