  • Provide ongoing network operational support and maintenance of the VAEC AWS cloud environment and the VA WAN, following VA security standards and best practices.
  • Review, plan, and implement requests for additional network connectivity to cloud resources in the VAEC AWS environment.
  • Work with multiple teams of administrators and technical engineers across diverse enterprise and local networks to troubleshoot, resolve, and document network issues.
  • Create plans to ensure the effective management, operations, and maintenance of networks and systems.
  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed network diagrams and associated documentation.
  • Monitor network and infrastructure performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Apply agency policies for computer access, firewall, and network protection technologies, and create the plans to implement them.

  • Plan and execute network-related tasks within a SAFe/Agile environment, including participation in agile ceremonies.
  • Respond to and resolve network incidents and outages quickly, lead troubleshooting to restore service with minimal downtime, and document root causes and corrective actions.
  • Present network configurations, updates, status, and performance reports to the client and stakeholders as required.
Requirements

  • Experience using AI-driven monitoring and analysis capabilities to detect anomalies, analyze logs and traffic data, and speed root cause analysis, with the administrator confirming findings before acting on them.
