Job summary

Alpine Bank in Rifle, Colorado is seeking a Network Administrator to oversee our LAN/WAN infrastructure, engage in strategic capacity planning, and craft design decisions for enterprise systems. The role includes hands-on administration of routers, switches, firewalls, VOIP, servers, SANs, and VDI, with an emphasis on reliability and security.

You will work with IT colleagues and vendors, participate in disaster recovery drills, and support occasional after-hours updates.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with Cisco, VMware, Windows Server and Active Directory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, configures, and monitors LAN/WAN operations.
• Administers routers, switches, firewalls, VOIP systems, firmware and security patches.
• Manages servers, hypervisors, SANs, VDI environments, and related updates.
• Troubleshoots network hardware/software issues and performs repairs.
• Secures network access, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Collaborates with IT staff and vendors to resolve issues.
