Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator to support the PEO STRI contract in Orlando, FL. The role covers design, deployment, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN networks, with a focus on high availability and security compliance.

Responsibilities include developing network documentation, supporting security policies, and evaluating new technologies. The candidate should have DoD STIG experience and a Secret clearance to start.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF and related protocols.
Experience with NGFWs, IDS/IPS, and network access controls.
Proven DoD compliance experience applying STIGs across enterprise devices.
Active Secret clearance is required to start.

Responsibilities

Assist with design, deployment, and troubleshooting of layer 2/3 network equipment.
Support network architecture standards, best practices, and documentation.
Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies, tools, and vendors.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain uptime.
Develop and maintain network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
Collaborate with IT security to enforce network security policies.
Stay current on industry trends to propose improvements.
Enforce and maintain network compliance via STIG remediation and security directives.
