Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless in Denver seeks a Network Administrator III to design, implement, and manage our network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls. You will ensure stability, security, and uptime while supporting mission-critical operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent), CCNP certification or 5+ years equivalent; 10+ years total network admin experience, TCP/IP, OSPF/BGP, and strong collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• CCNP certification or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in network administration, preferably with Cisco equipment.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN configuration, routing (OSPF/BGP), and security principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Terminal Services, including Gateway Broker and RD Web.

Responsibilities

• Designs and deploys Cisco-based and other network solutions to meet organizational requirements.
• Configures and maintains switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Implements network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and attacks.
• Conducts regular security audits and ensures compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Monitors network performance and identifies opportunities to optimize network infrastructure for maximum performance and uptime.
• Responsible for troubleshooting network issues and outages to ensure swift resolution and minimize downtime.
• Maintains accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Generates reports on network performance, capacity, and availability.
• Provides technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network-related issues.
• Manages vendor relationships, including network hardware and software, including procurement and support.
• Resolves Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 networking requests.
