Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks an experienced field technician to test, inspect, and troubleshoot LV, MV and HV switchgear, breakers, transformers, relays and cable across Tennessee and the Southeast.

You will perform NETA acceptance/maintenance testing, document results, commission new equipment, and support outages and emergencies. The role includes leading and mentoring junior technicians on site and may require up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• NETA Level II, III or IV certification.
• 2–5+ years of field testing experience.
• Safety-focused: LOTO, arc flash and NFPA 70E.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and troubleshoot LV, MV and HV switchgear, breakers, transformers, relays and cable.
• Perform NETA acceptance and maintenance testing, and document results.
• Commission new equipment, and support outages and emergency calls.
• Lead and mentor Level I/II techs on site.
