Job summary

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Developer 3 to design, code, test, and maintain software applications. You will work on SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and .NET applications, while supporting Power Apps and Power BI services.

Local to Metro Atlanta preferred; duties include developing reports, forms, and apps, plus analyzing business needs and delivering reliable software solutions in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IS or CS and 5+ years of application development.
• Strong SQL skills: functions, queries, stored procedures, and views.
• SQL Server development for RDBMS design, stored procedures, UDFs, and triggers.
• Solid program and report development using standard tools.
• Ability to analyze business needs and propose efficient solutions.
• Crystal Reports knowledge.
• Proficient with code versioning tools (DevOps).
• Knowledge of .NET web framework and C#.NET ecosystem.
• Experience with PowerApps, Power BI Services, Power Automate a plus.
• Familiarity with Hospital EHR processes and related systems.
• Knowledge of MyAvatar, RxConnect and Dentrix.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, test, modify and debug software per requirements.
• Design, build and maintain Crystal Reports, Widgets, Forms, Power Apps and .NET apps/services.
• Develop SQL queries and stored procedures to support data needs.
• Analyze customer information needs and propose effective systems.
• Act as IT subject matter expert for assigned areas.
• Maintain and upgrade existing systems to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate in a team environment across project scopes.
• Ensure quality development and operation of tasks.
• Code, compile, debug, document, and implement programs.
