Job summary

Business Information Group, Inc. (BIG) is seeking a Development Consultant (Heavy .NET) to design, develop, and maintain software applications and databases.

You will work on data-driven solutions, focusing on SQL Server, .NET, and cloud services, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high performance and reliability. The role requires strong SDLC knowledge, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or 3+ years of database/SQL development).
• 3–5 years of experience building data-driven SQL solutions (stored procedures, triggers, views, ad-hoc queries).
• Intermediate Microsoft SQL Server and T‑SQL knowledge required.
• Familiarity with cloud platform services (AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and prepare detailed specifications for solutions.
• Design, code, test, and debug SQL/database solutions across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Interact with clients to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
