Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking an experienced .NET engineer to join our data and technology driven healthcare product team. You will design, implement, and deliver enterprise web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and modern frontend tech.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinicians to build scalable features on the Pathfinder platform. You should have 5+ years of professional software development, strong SQL Server experience, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
• 5+ years leveraging C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and ASP.NET Web API and modern frontend frameworks, including React.
• 5+ years’ experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• 3+ years of experience with Web Services lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy), API versioning and design approaches, tools, interoperability, and SOA concepts.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design and access approaches.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Preferred: Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and .NET Core.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on system architecture, design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operation of enterprise-level software applications.
• Collaborate with product management and your team to decompose complex requirements into stories for planning and execution.
• Lead feature development and ensure quality delivery across the development cycle.
• Drive technical direction, design, coding standards, performance, and security improvements.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices and modern software engineering best practices.
